Wind Energy Engineering
Admission to the master’s programme wind energy engineering is possible in both summer and winter semester. Requirement for admission is a completed technical or scientific bachelor degree.
In case of a high number of applicants the enrollment is decided based on numerus clausus (NC). The NC, which is the minimum grade point average, is currently 3.0 considering the german grading system. If you can not meet the grade requirement, but your previous field of study is a good basis for this master´s programme you should apply anyway. In the past almost all applicants with suitable bachelor degrees and/or specialisations were enrolled.
Special software skills are not a requirement for admission. Standard software such as office applications should be proficiently operated like in any other study programme.
Lectures are mostly given in german. However, there are also many lectures in English, which is a good preparation for the very international industry. In the case of oral examinations, you can generally choose between German and English, so that you can take an examination in German in spite of an English lecture or vice versa.
